How to add colour to mono solar image in Photoshop CS3

Hi

Just wondering how to process mono solar images taken with an imaging source DMK21 and adding colour to it?

Would appreciate any tips please

I just save the file from Registax as an RGB TIFF, though it just looks like a mono greyscale. In Curves I then pull the blue right down, lift the red a lot and play with the green. Repeat. It takes a couple of goes. I have saved it as an action so now it is just one click, though most of the time some further adjustment is necessary. I learned this from Helen when she came to stay. Credit where it's due!!
