New Vixen SXP GEQ mount with Star-Book Ten

Vixen Japan have released their latest Vixen SXP German Equatorial Mount which features the same high precision pulse stepper motors as their flagship Vixen AXD. This and a number of other enhancements deliver quieter, smoother tracking and improved performance for long-exposure astrophotography.

The new SXP mount is also supplied with Vixen's new Star-Book Ten controller for manual or computer controlled observation or astrophotography. Like the mount, the Star-Book Ten controller has several new features and enhancements over the previous model including a TFT LED-Backlit 800x480 LCD screen and the ability to save permanent periodic error correction data.

The mount will be displayed by Vixen UK at this Saturday's South West Astronomy Fair at Sidmouth in Devon.
