a question re CLS Filters

Recommended Posts

Hi All

can anyone confirm how the CLS Filter ( http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p4686_TS-2--CLS-broad-band-nebula-filter---visual-and-photography.html ) fits into the imaging train - i have ED80 with an SW reducer and canon m48 bayonet fix.

i would have assumed that it would screw on to the back of the reducer and then the bayonet fix would screw onto the filter, but there isn't both a male and female fitment to allow for that. the only option i can see is to lie it onto the reducer loose before screwing the reducer onto the ed80 -

a bit confused so any help is appreciated.

thanks starflyer for the idea, but i just had another check and there is no way the the filter is wide enough to screw into the front end of the reducer. so its back in there just sitting loose at the moment.
