Surprise , another event comes and goes behind the ubiquitous grey mantle of the Great British Summer ,

Cleared here 25 minutes after the occultation..........

Here's today's early morning effort through a lovely patch of clear blue.

1000D + ST 120 + 1.75x Barlow .

30/54 , 1/2000s @ ISO 200 , Reg5.

Not a lot showing on the Eastern limb yet , looks like we're in for a quiet week ahead......

P.S. Did anyone catch the occultation ?

Thanks for that link Roger , nice to see what's lurking though it does take away the fun of checking out the disc with bins with the associated anticipation.....

Hope you catch something later , forecast looks reasonable for later on .

Lots of slow moving clouds here at the moment but decent patches inbetween , moving West to East.
