Current conditions on Mars?

Does anyone know of an up to date site that gives the current conditions on Mars for viewing purposes. ie dust storms etc?

The conditions are not good Gaz - little atmosphere, loads of red dust everywhere to get all over your eyepieces and it gets a bit chilly in the evenings - I'd stay here if I were you and wait for the clouds to clear :D:):(

Thank you John, I've just had a PM from Caz informing me Mars is covered in chocolate......one of you is wrong! :)

BTW I'd be more worried about the atmospheric pressure than anything else, I don't fancy going out with a bang just yet!! :D

If thats the case (and when has Caz ever been mistaken ?), then it's not sub-surface water that NASA are looking for it's CARAMEL .

Thinks - I wonder what a chocolate-based lifeform would look like :D

I'd guess that Caz is wrong. Or, pulling your leg. Being from Venus, she may simply be misinformed.

It maybe doesn't translate across the pond AM.... :D

I get the Mars Bar reference. :) There's a book called Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus by Dr. John Gray that "explores" the differences in the sexes.

Apparently, it was funnier in my head. :insects1:
