Up and running. EQ5Pro reconditioned , OO 8", 1200mm ota with Revelation focuser, reconditioned.

It's an f6 planetary wizard.

The wide Orion rings are lovely to turn the tube. The carbon fibre wrap give sufficient gripness.

Power is a 12v leisure battery.

It took ages and a lot of searching to move from a Dob, but there's so much to see and enjoy.

There's a lot of difference between searching

for deep sky objects and finding a few each session and being able to target and note those of interest.
