A very nice Barlow go for it if the price is right I owned one and it was great. It's quite a long Barlow from memory I do remember a friend of mine that had one but it gave him a few problems with his diagonal so he sold it and bought a celestron ultima Barlow which are shorter

I have one, and it works well and it just gets out of the way when in use. I've never really noticed the length of it.

I will be upgrading to a powermate at some point to avoid the changes in focus point with different eyepieces.
