This is my first image posting for a while. I was fairly pleased with the results - it's better than any others I have but I have some way to go to get the most out of what I have Maybe some of you kind SGLers can give me some pointers (in easy to understand language )

While the gain & exposure were whacked to the max so I had a bright image I got it as sharply focused as possible using a bhatinov mask.

Skywatcher 250 Flextube Goto

Philips SPC900 + IR Filter

TAL 3x Barlow

Sharpcap - 1800 Frames (3 mins 10 FPS, Exp -4, Gain 38)

Processed in Registax 5.1 and tweaked in Photoshop Elements

Nice image Chris. Just needs running through auto rgb align in the wavelet section of registax to remove the blue and red outline. Remember Saturn can be captured for at least 6 mins to get more frames.

I'll go and have a second go right now and see if I can find that option - seeing as the Queen has given me the day off for her birthday

Just need to whisk away the cloud to get more data for a better effort.
