First light DMK 31 Ha and CaK

I'm a bit disappointed with the Ha result (even though capturing is a darn sight easier with only 8 captures rather than 20!) The details are there but the image lacks contrast, especially as regards faculae/plage. This is no doubt down to my inexperience with the camera settings. It looks as if my exposure may have been too low. I'm pleased with the CaK though.

That should all come together with experience - great start!

Well, that looks fine to me! I'd be happy with that. I'd need a solar scope and a decent high-frame rate camera though!
