Transit of Venus - observing session

Hi

There will be an informal observing session for this event at Therfield Heath, just west of Royston in North Herts. This site has ample parking, is open 24/7, and has a good eastern horizon. All we need now is clear skies .

Wednesday 6th June, 04.43 - 05.49 (meeting at site just after 04.00 to set up and poss do some astronomical observing). All times BST.

I was really hoping to find somewhere suitable to see this, so this is perfect. Wasn't actively into astronomy for the last transit, so literally an opportunity of a lifetime, definitely don't want to miss it
