Here's another take on Saturday's sun. What a great weekend it was for solar observing.

I like how we're able to see the proms, but yet still low enough exposure to see dics detail. I'm using a stock PST, so the sweet spot only allows me to see a narrow fov for proms, plus I have to amp up the exposure on my generic webcam to get proms visible, but sacrifice surface detail. Nice image

Thanks but I did cheat a bit...

It's a mono avi exposed as much as possible without burning out the detail, stacked and wavelet processed.

I open two copies - upped the levels in one to show the proms, and copied the disk from the other and then pasted it on top as a new layer. The layers were then merged before adjusting the levels to R 1.9, G 0.8, B 0.2

Still experimenting and learning though.
