Reflections in a Mak

I have recenlty acquired a Celestron C70 Mini Mak and although it mainly used for terrestrial I wanted to use it on the odd night. I tried it the other night and found there was a reflection to the left of centre which was a bit odd. I know it won't have great coatings needed for astro work but should it have a circular reflection? It's not there in daylight.

Depends on the nature of this... reflection? Random thing I noticed, with some MAKs: Bright, off-axis, stuff (stars even) can create weird shapes... circles, parabolas, hyperbolas(?), in the field. Had thought the *corrector* was "broken" in the past.

Maybe another good case for a Dew Shield?

Probably a reflection in the erector system. As you say, these don't tend to show in daylight.
