Today's Sun through awful seeing and high cloud.

SW ED120APO stopped to 100mm. Baader Solar film. Canon 1100D ISO 100 1/4000sec. HEQ5 mount. Close up of AR 1471 - 300/1800 frames with an SPC900 and 2x barlow.

Looks like the cloud might have taken some of the colour out of the top of the picture, regardless, it's still a great picture!

Excellent images I really hope we are blessed with sunshine this weekend, I'm getting the shakes because I haven't looked through my big telescope for so long now.
