First night with Celestron LX's

First clear night in 2 weeks, so out came the new celestron x-cell LX's .

7mm on saturn spectacular! clear rings and shadow on planet. just made out cassini, and saw 5 moons.

then the 18mm on the moon, crystal clear.

Lastly 25mm on the beehive, fantastic.

Cracking lenses, money well spend in my opinion!

Anything remotely expensive is never money well spent according to my partner either (), although she was as excited as I was last night with our findings.

They're good EP's... & work well in a 200... bet the 18mm becomes ya fave...

Having just purchased my first, a 12mm, I am converted - will be adding 25mm and maybe 7mm soon!

The field of view, the darkness and contrast - so much better and certainly a massive improvement over the stocks and Plossls. I also love the feel of them - heavy, solid and good grips/eyecups. Are their scopes built that well/do they perform that much better too?!
