Fitting a prism into a diagonal

Not sure why you would want to do it...

The prism you show is for a 1.25 body and your "donor" diagonal is a 2"....

You'd need to apply some yankee ingenuity and fit spacers to the back plate to hold the prism square and central. Maybe a couple of pieces of shaped customwood??

I did try a 1.25" diagonal actually, it doesn't fit.

The original spec did say it needs 54mm tube:

I agree, probably some kind of 'channel' holding the sides with the back glued to the back plate.
