Advice for new telescope please

Posted a similar thread on imaging forum but realised here would probably be better.

Hopefully getting an EQ3 Pro soon, as a new mount for my little 114mm reflector, however to bring it to focus with DSLR requires barlow, making it an f/8 telescope.

Looking therefore for a shorter focal length scope (400-600mm) to do some widefield AP with. (M31 springs to mind). Refractor or reflector, but suitable for that mount. Preferably £400-£500 max for the telescope, and any gadgets I'd need like a field reducer-flattener.

Williams Optics Megrez 72 seems to be popular but doesn't seem to be produced anymore. Any alternatives out there?

Why dont you remove the lens out of the barlow? Then it just acts as an extension tube.....

The issue is lack of in focus on the telescope, not back focus. But thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking about the two telescope suggested, but the focal length of the 150P is a little long.
