skywatcher skymax, will it fit...

on a celestron tripod or would i need a skywatcher tripod .

i have a celestron cg3 for the astromaster, and wondered if the skymax scopes are of the same fit ?

My SW Explorer, fitted with the dovetail & tube rings that originally attached it to an EQ3-2 mount, is perfectly happy on its new Celestron CG-5 mount.

what size skymax? you might just about get away with the 127 on the astromaster mount

only the 90mm. the 90mm comes on a eq1 mount which i think is not as good as my cg3 ?, but as the astromaster was my first telescope,im unsure how others may fit. my current cg3 is a dovetail with two retaining screws. so i was hopeing the skywatcher would be the same fit.
