This is my first attempt at time lapse photography. Its roughly 1hour compressed into 25secs, at 10fps. I have incorporated an element of astronomy by imaging my scope/mount during tracking at night.

Thanks for the exposure detail - I am building up a head of steam to have a go myself. Clouds seem to make a great subject.

Well with regards to astro stuff, probably not a lot in the very near future, all the widefield targets I want to capture with it are all drifting westward now with the evenings drawing out, so the old trusty ST102 will be put to use again on the galaxys that are currently dominating our night sky. Images from the 2.8L will be mainly planes or compressed telephoto landscapes till autumn. I may point it skyward again soon if something up there takes my fancy. I can't wait to try it on M31 later this year. By then I should be all modded up as well!
