Charlie_132
Why is venus so hard to capture with a webcam and 130p scope ?When I record it it just looks like a bright circle with a hint of a half moon shapeHas anyone managed to get a photo of venus through a 130p and webcam ?Was good viewing tonight, although its came to a end from a big dark cloud now covering venus and jupiter for me ... Zachariah
Well venus is just very bright and at the moment a crescent shape, not sure what you expect to see.
Phil Fargaze
Because of it being so bright, I sometimes try using a moon filter to cut down on the glare.
Charlie_132
That's exactly what I expect to see, just saying its near impossible to get a picture of it being a cresent shape, shows up on screen as a bright ball with a few sharp points
