Skywatcher st102 achromatic: First astro pics!

I just have installed the single axis motor in my EQ5 mount and have tested it. I used the sky watcher st102 short tube refractor and Canon EOS 550D camera to take some shots of the deep sky objects. The motor worked fine once the mount is perfectly polar aligned. Here are some pics.

Nice set of images, I used the single axis motor drive on my eq5 for nearly 2 years and did many of my images with just that and short subs. Recently bought the dual axis motor kit and converted it to do guiding with, short subs and the single axis motor kit will take you a long way.

Love to know how you modded the head, Quatermass! Can you point me to a URL ? Sorry if I am hijacking the thread. I don't mean to.
