mak 127 users

hi all

Im looking to get some viewing advice from mak 127 users.

What things are worth looking at for a newbi to all of this.

Ive seen the moon and saturn so far so im looking for a list to get me started.

Pretty much any of the Messier objects will be visible with the Mak when they're in the sky. Mars and Venus are also visible at the moment, though you'll need to be out early for Venus. It may be getting a bit borderline now, but you might even be able to find comet Garradd.

As James has said, Messier objects are worth looking for and globular clusters look fantastic through this scope (worth picking up a low magnification EP to get the most from these). Planets are great and it splits double stars very nicely too.
