DSLR and Skymax 90

Recommended Posts

Hey guys

I have a Nikon D3000 that I have not used a lot . I am looking to see if there's a way I could hook this up to my Skymax 90.

Any ideas or input would be great. I am still new to all this .

Thanks

Like anything with photography..you need a steady base for the camera..

for astro-photography it's even more important, & if you wish to do long-exposures you will need as sturdy a tripod & heavy-duty Equatorial mount (with tracking) as you can afford. with your present set-up you could get some 'snaps' of the moon & planets...or try a webcam..see this thread...http://stargazerslounge.com/primers-tutorials/40665-primer-planetary-imaging-toucam.html or a good book to read before buying anything is.. 'Making Every Photon Count'
