found this nubula in a book i was reading today ( me reading thats a first ) i thought it was very intresting as in the book published in 2008 it says " the stingray nebula has only just emerged from the dark. 20 years ago the nebulous gas entombing the dying star wasn't hot enough to glow. as the stingray is switching on its central star is switching off.The intense radiation need to illuminate the nebula is generated not by fusion,but by the star collapsing under its own weight as its nuclear furnaces go out.

i love the fact that stuff can still happen in our generation and who know what nebula might light up next just though i would share this
