F/6.3 focal reducers...help needed.

Hi,

I have a CPC-800 and have just started to autoguide.

My problem is i have an Antares f/6.3 reducer and have read that it has an optimal back focus of 82mm.

I am using a DSLR and OAG and cannot get my distance down to 82mm, the shortest i can get is 105mm.

I have also read that the Celestron f/6.3 reducer has a back focus of 105mm.

Can anyone confirm that the Celestron does infact have a longer back focus distance than the Antares, as i cannot find specific specs anywhere on the net.

I don't want to buy another FR and be no better off and i can't afford a CCD camera right now.

Thanks
