Some Moon and a view over the edge....

Hello,

I'm just starting to image the Moon and it's a wonderful subject

But I have some problems with differences in RGB channels although I record with a one shot DBK camera.

In photoshop the blue channel is less sharp and the green is the sharpest. now I can just copy the Green channel as a new layer in a new RGB image (so all channels contain the green channel information) or I can copy the green channel as a greyscale layer. I don't know what's best.....

Or is there a way to record in black and white with the DBK ?

Upper left: PLato, green only into RGB.

Lower right: Plato RGB

Upper right Alps, green only into RGB

Lower left: Compton crater hills behind Humboldtianum ? (Sky at night said these are only visible at extreme libration so I had to take the opportunity)
