Sweet, I just added one more camera to my wish list.

This Astro60D is quite popular in the Far East apparently. May be the Canon's exec saw one and realise they are the market leader in DSLR AP, so they should release a camera for us

Hmm. It's encouraging that Canon are still taking notice of the community that use their cameras for AP... But at ~£930 are astrophotographers really going to choose this over a CCD? I'm not sure about the "low noise sensor" but other than that it's just a modified filter as far as I can tell, which can be achieved *much* cheaper with an old camera like my 450D which only cost me £300!

Don't know why I'm coming across all negative - it might be a good choice if you're an enthusiastic daytime photographer who fancies dabbling in AP without taking your camera to pieces, I suppose!
