As Rob suggests, the Iris Nebula is worth a pop. It's actually quite well placed this time of year. This is not a great image, but shows that there are hints of the dark nebula showing up, even with short 2min subs on an old Nikon D70!

Ahh thats right up my alley! Thanks all :icon_salut:

I just find them so amazing, its just the depth that comes with them that seems to keep me attracted, ie. The image above just gives the senstation that the main star is set back within the cloud of darkness, and the colours (to me anyway) are much more appealing!
