How to test ST4 mod on EQ5

Hey guys ive just done the ST4 mod on the EQ5 motor handset, cant say i found it that easy but im awful at soldering etc etc.

BUT, ive managed it and the handset still works which is a good thing! LOL

I dont have a guide interface yet but have the Hitecastro USB guider coming tomorrow. I dont have a cam yet, although i am waiting on a connector for a webcam, which should be here after weekend, is there anyway i can test the mod to make sure ive done it right before i get my cam and actually test it in the field?

Or am i going to have to wait? Many thanks

Manual guide controls in PHD should work even without a camera

Ok cool so if i connect it all up, the guider interface to laptop with PHD on it, i *SHOULD* be able to use manual controls in PHD to control mount, and i guess if that works, then the mod was successful? Im just not very confident in my soldering....lol
