Brought mine in earlier. Managed to do some unplanned star hopping and revisit some favs like the moon Venus and mars. May have caught a glimpse of some ngc objects in Perseus. However sky didn't seem as dark or contrasty as it can, even with a half moon.

That told me there was probably some high misty cloud that tends to exacerbate the light pollution I get. Just looked now and definitely haze around the moon...

didnt even get out- there were clouds at sunset, and they are sticking around aparently
