Hi folks.. Just a quick question.. I got a camping ground sheet today in the pound shop, its 1m x 2m - if I folded it over & stitched it along the top, then added a zipper to the size would 2m cover the Don & base (lenght ways) & would 1m be enough to wrap around the scope.. I haven't get the scope yet.. that's why I'm asking..

The base is diameter 52cm.

So the circumfrence is 163cm.

So 1m wide is not enough I'm afraid.

A heavy duty garden table cover (with draw-string) from argos or similar will cover it.

Am I missing something obvious here? If the diameter is 163cm and the cover is 2m then it's more than big enough; isn't it?

I got a camping mat and did just what the OP has done, stitched it together with some thick cotton. No zip though

Yeah, but i was talking about 2m height wise.. Would 1m do it in height? i doubt it..
