Another night of bad seeing?

Recommended Posts

(I sent off a full radiosonde at 12:45 local)

Bit rough to 870Mb, after that is fairly linear. Let the ground jet settle and all should be smooth. I predict that that anyone East and North of me should get 8/10 seeing and trans. by 2:10 (local).

Cheers

Ian

It was absolutely sensational here tonight!

Could see loads more stars than usual and they were pretty much rock steady from about 40 degrees up to zenith.

Don't think I'll see another night like this for a long while, but keeping my fingers crossed for this week :blob10:

x2 nights of perfect viewing, but good lord, the amount of dew meant I had to pack up early! aaaaarrgghh!

I can see dew heaters being ordered soon, bye bye wage packet!

In two years I've never had a drop of dew on my 'scope and I haven't got a clue why!

I guess it must be down to my setup position.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but I'd like to understand why!
