Any one in the Ipswich area have an EQ6 ?

Hi folks.

I am looking for any one in my local area who has an EQ6 - EQ6 pro mount that would be willing for me to have a look at it.

I need to check some measurements on the tripod that it it supplied with.

I need to know the measurement from the flat surface where the mount sits to the top of the fixing bolt when it is fully home.

Hi Graham

When the mounting bolt is held as far up as it'll go (i.e. as if it's screwed into the mount) the end of the bolt is 10mm above the "inner" ring and 5mm above the section of ring which has the holes for the RA post.

Hope this helps.

Out of interest - what are you thinking of doing?
