Stars and planets

Well had a sort of clear night with a low fog with patches of clear sky.

Looked at Jupiter again but couldn't see much detail just a white round spot with I think 3 moons this time so was a little disappointed but not too much

I then had a view of mars but again not so clear but got a bit of detail with light pollution filter on which I think I saw te ice caps

Was hoping to see Saturn but cloud obscured the lower bright objects

Hopefully il get a proper clear night and see some good galaxies .

Quick question guys does viewing behind double glazing give you less detail ? As I have a good view of a few stars from the main front window.

You'll probably get ghosting / double image but I guess its better than not looking at all
