LP Filter or UHC....

Ok so im looking at getting some filters, to be honest the LP around me isnt 'THAT' bad, and was wandering what would be better use to me, a LP filter? or a UHC filter?

This is for imaging by the way and no observing :) I find that my images 45sec @ ISO1600 are a little washed out.....

Many thanks!

Im in Bewdley just outside of Worcester, its not a massive town but can still get some orange glow up here.

That thread is amazing and just goes to show the difference! Think ill be getting the LPFilter now :) I think it'll help no end and give the images a bit mroe contrast, is that right?

OR, would i be better off getting a UHC filter do you think?

I'm really no expert, but i'd get the LP, as it should allow you to take the longer subs.

Then the UHC at a later date, this will just make the nebula clearer.

I have the LP filter & will be trying some nebula first, then getting the UHC in a few months time.
