Scopes and accessories

Hi. Can anyone tell me if there is a store close to Sunderland where you can buy telescopes and accessories? Regards. Scott

there isnt as far as i know and im in northumberland but dont quote me on that might be wrong lol

There are no specialised shops, but Bonsers in Newcastle used to stock some scopes, and can order stuff in, although last time I looked they had a disappointingly small selection in the shop.

Slightly further afield are Grovers (Grovers Northallerton Celestron Sky-Watcher & Baader Telescopes and Accessories) in Northallerton, who stock Celestron and Skywatcher.

Im from just outside Sunderland aswell (Boldon Colliery) and im poping up to Bonsers tomorrow to see what they have in stock they dont have anything decent in ill be ordering from First Light Optics.
