New focuser for Newtonian

Hi,

I have an 8 inch celestron newtonian and the focuser on it is, to put it mildly, rubbish. It moves all over the place making it hard to collimate, and focusing is a chore. What would be a good one to replace it with, for say, £100 or less?

You could probably get this one to fit First Light Optics - Dual-speed Crayford 1.25/2 inch focuser for Skywatcher Explorer

It might be an idea to ask someone at FLO though, they will know for sure.

I have the same OTA and the R&P focuser seems fine to me. Have you adjusted the small hex screws on the top of the focuser? Once adjusted the tube wont' move around.
