Seeing conditions 1/3/12

I needed to do some alignment work on my scope so tonight I popped out for a couple of hours to sort things out. Once done, and even though there was a fair amount of thin whispy cloud around I couldn't resist turning the scope on Venus, and then the half moon. Whilst looking at the moon with an 8mm x-cell eyepiece I couldn't help notice how stable the seeing was, with hardly any boiling effect...

I grabbed the NexImage and took some video - Firstly using just the camera and then with some stacked barlows.... best ever moon images have been the result

Aye some very nice shots there well done , Jupiter was looking very good too, managed to get in some moons and such too, some good seeing conditions early last night for sure.
