AZ 4 mount question?

Can someone explain (simply!) why the Azimuth dial on the AZ4 is either upside down or the wrong way round?

I wanted to use Stellarium to get Alt/Az readouts for various stars etc, but the AZ4 dial is completely useless!!

Explain please??

Can you take it off and put it back on the correct way round.

No, all can do is rotate it!!!

Mmmm, it does appear that the scale is on upside down. Review AZGOTO and AZ4
