Planetary imaging.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I wish to image the Planets, but not with a webcam.

I want to use a mono ccd camera, equipped with RGB Filters. Also using software such as Astro-Art and Nebulosity.

Has anyone tried this,or know of any Tutorial on this method.

I would need exposure tables, stacking and aligning methods.Anything that could help.

Cheers.

Mick.

P.S.The camera i have is an old MX716.

Obviously this set-up and camera does not have a fast frame rate.

Just really want to know if this idea and eqipment will work on the planets.
