Hello all,

The suns activity is not that high today but I thought I would try imaging it nonetheless.

Captured using my 4" f/10 refractor with a canon 7D

There is some nice Faculae around the limb.

Superb!! it is a bit quiet but certainly some nice faculae coming this way on the NE limb, hopefully some more action soon.

I am really getting the bug for this solar viewing/imaging

I plan on getting a PST at some point this year (as long as I have a job!)

The 102mm f/10 refractor should make a perfect doner scope for a PST mod.

Roll on summertime when the suns at a decent elevation in the sky

How much difference does a Baader solar continuum filter make to the details seen in white light?

Does anyone have an image showing the difference?
