You only need do it the once (set your latitude co-ords). From now on you just slew to the North with the OTA at Latitude 0, switch off/on and away you go. , if you change observing sites you may wish to re-enter the new latitude, not mega important but it is supposed to improve tracking accuracy.

I thought thats what I said. Sorry if I sound abit thick just trying to get to grips with my new scope. The instructions confuse because they give two versions of the same thing, but do not explain this is a once only setup. If we ever see clear skies again I hope to try it out. Thanks fir the help
