Kedvenc
Had anyone fitted a fan to their newts that blow across the front of the primary? Seen some articles on this removing thermal tube currents close to the primary and thus markedly improving performance.
Vapouriser
You could try a hole! A hole opposite the mirror with a fan affixed outside blowing in. You d have to seal it well.I have seen nice proffessional jobs on sct s. I have nt done anything to mine , just leave it outside for long enough. jimmyjamjoejoe
I just fitted a fan to my 200p. It's the dob so had no plate behind the mirror.I bought a plastic/rubber bucket from the surplus store and cut the bottom off it, it was exactly the right size to slot onto the end of the tube with an inch or so lip. I lined the lip with the waist elastic from an old pair of pants just to give a snug and cushioned fit. Then i just cut a hole in the centre of the bucket bottom for an old computer fan i had, wired up the fan to a usb cable, and bought a £2 "emergency phone charger" which takes 2 x AA batteries, and outputs to a usb slot.I tried it out yesterday to see how long it lasts - the batteries lasted roughly 6 hours. I'l get some pics on here eventually, gotta dig out the camera yet though. All in all, i'm pretty pleased with how tidy it looks, considering what i made it from etc.
