Comet Garradd C/2009-P1 02-02-2012

This comet is getting quite high now before dawn so I had a go last night.

Details:

SW MN190, Atik 383L+ mono with Baader lumin filter, 30 x 40 second and 26 x 60 second exposures binned 1x1.

This image has been cropped in PS. Processing in PS CS3 after opening FIT files in Fits Liberator.

There's some gradation to the background sky but the image was stretched quite heavily to try and bring out the tail...

Thanks both, I'm working on this again trying with more flat frames to reduce the gradation from the background. The tail in these frames has ended up so close to background levels stretching just enhances everything!
