I want to buy a telescope for my partner n reading thro advice the suggested ones for beginners have been skywatcher 130 heritage flex tube or skywatcher 130 explorer..I have been reading up on these two telescopes and have now become more confused than ever, they are both in the same price range but I have no idea which one would be the best one...can anyone please advise? Really lookin forward to having a look myself, please any advice on this would be greatly appreciated....thank u :-)

The flex tube is probably the best as its on a dobsonian mount it's very portable and packs away very easily.

The Heritage 130P will be easier to setup but requires a solid table to stand it on.

I have gone through the same process and have come out with preferring the Dobsonian mount (Heritage). I think ease of setup tipped it for me.
