With the RumblePad2 being replaced by a more expensive variant lots of you people are always looking for an alternative for EQMOD.

Right, if anyone's interested it turned up.

It's a standard xbox 360 wireless controller so many of you will know what to expect. and is a "Windows" controller so key mapped like the logitech RumblePad2 (or rather it's the other way around)

The reciever is the bit that puts people off these but that's now been fixed. Finding these on their own is pretty hard due to most of them you see on ebay and Amazon are counterfeit copies which may work well enough don't have any drivers. the official Microsoft version has an install disc. You just stick the disk in, it auto exe's, installs then you stick the dongle in and push the sync buttons and you're off.

Possibly the best wireless pad and the most well built and for £27 you can't argue.

Now, off for a quick game of Portal 2 and then I'll set it up on EQMOD.

No problems with EQMOD. The device even remains paired with the controller when you switch it to another machine.

I use one of these. Works a treat.

What I find a bit annoying is that it 'goes to sleep' if left for a while, in which case you have to restart it and reconnect it to EQMOD.
