Celestron Laser Finder Review

I have just received my new laser and tested it outside. First impression are great!

First night out with the laser and although its cloudy so far I can tell its working great!

It used to take me a few mins even to find the moon... Went straight to it first time!!! And Ive only done a rough setup on the laser. If celestron sold their scopes with something like this instead of the RDF I would be so far ahead of where I am now!

These lasers hate the cold and can die a death in no time at all. If this happens just put it inside your clothing next to your skin and it will warm up again.

There is a simple 'warm laser' alternative. Keep it in your pocket and just fire it through the finder. The finder will send it in the right direction. It may well act up, as Paul says, if left out in the cold.

All seemed fine tonight. Cold didn't really have any effect. Im amazed how simple it makes finding things. It used to take ages to find a planet!
