The Moon and Venus

Yesterday evening when I was taking my dog out I noticed that the Moon and Venus were close together in the sky.

I didn't have my camera with me and there was a big bank of rain cloud coming so I knew they weren't going to be around for long. Therefor I quickly got my phone out and snapped this.

I then converted it to black and white (which I quite like)

After that I played around with it in an app on my phone

They were so bright in the sky, sorry for the low quality images because as I said it was shot on my phone but it was just one of those moments you could afford to miss.
