Astromaster 130 eq + Nikon d3100

Hi guys, I've had my telescope for just over a year now and I've recently purchased a dlsr camera, Nikon d3100, I bought it for normal photography but I'm thinking I could take some shots of the skies. I was just wondering what would be the best things for me to attempt to photograph with the camera and telescope I have.

You'll need a T adapter and a T ring specific to your camera. Lots in the forums to help explain.

I have heard that there might not be enough inward focus but would need someone to make clarify.

Yeah, I looked into it a bit yesterday but it got a bit confusing, I was thinking I could just buy the t ring and mount but as mention above it seem my scope won't focus like that. I have read about using a barlow lens, which I have, but it seems to have a varying degree of success.

Another thing you could do is try lunar/planetary imaging. You can buy a webcam bundle with everything you need for around £40 from Morgans.
