So I've finished the platform for the velux window, it works and it doesn't work at the same time.

Design is ok, however I miss-calculated the opening angle of the window , the mount and camera are fouling with the window.

It could work but with a limited viewing angle, and as there is no easy way of removing the window.... I have to call off this project.

Now that my EQ1 is auto-guided, I'll concentrate on the first platform for the time being.

Next in the making: a light weight truss dobsonian... watch this space.
