whats the best settings??

ok so last night i managed nearly 3 hours on ngc 2430 and i dont think theres much detail there at all?? my qeation is is it better to do mixed settings or keep them all the same? mine was a miz of 3 min iso 800/400 and 1 min iso 1600 and 10min iso 100 here is a unedited picture thats came from DSS some darks applied too

This will be your starting point for processing... open in photoshop and adjust the levels and curves, you'll be surprised at how much extra detail you get.
